Massage from my perspective

Massage is a way to get work done on your body; it’s maintenance for your physical body, your spiritual aspect, and your mind as well. A massage helps to remove stress and tension from any one of these three properties of your being. You’ll be able to look at yourself from a whole new perspective and feel better about yourself. There is no one answer to any problem; the problem could start off as physical but truly be spiritual or mental. This is due to an imbalance of your being. Massage will help to better balance your whole self. The imbalance within your being can bring about a disease; a dis-ease within yourself. By bringing it to more of a balance than before, the limit set upon yourself by this “disease” can improve with regular massages. A massage will not only help remove excess energy (stress) from your mind, body, and spirit but, will also help you feel more relaxed.

Treat your body as one would treat your car. Just like a fine tuned car, if you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle, you need to take care of your body. Just a 60 mins massage will be enough to give your body justice. If you want to learn more about yourself and give your being a break from life, then get a massage for longer than 60 mins. The session is yours to control as long as it remains within neutral grounds of you and your therapist. Too painful, not enough pressure, or if you want more stretches is all up to you. The session is yours to control. I work with you to attain peace and happiness within yourself, with your own being.

Why i got into massage...

I got into massage for the health of my own body. It was in so much pain that it literally told me to get a massage but I was being cheap about getting it done. So it told me to just get certified as one and massage yourself. Best choice ever. My knees have been shot since middle school. They made me ignore my lower back pain that I have been dealing with. I asked my doctor at the time what could be the problem and he said that it could be growing pains. It was true; in my case it was over growth of my quads (front side of the thighs). The solution was so simple but over rated for me, I simply had to stretch. I chose not to and kept adding pain and stress to my body until I got my first taste of a massage in class. I had not only learned which muscles were causing the problems, but solved it. I got more and more massages following that; following my pain pattern back to the source.

At the age of 22 I’ve gone through piriformis syndrome three times (similar to sciatica), had nerves in my arms pinched due to over tight muscles causing numbness in my arms, hyper lordosis (super arch in the back; really bad), and many other severe problems. Massage saved me from continuing a dangerous ongoing battle to a better place, a better me. It can and will do the same for you, just give it a try.

*massage with a male therapist is better in the sense that men have a natural strength that let them work deeper than females can
